Inspired by the Roaring 20\'s, this necklace showcases a very rare geometric Czech pendant that is quintessential Art Deco. This gorgeous pendant is brilliantly faceted in ruby & clear glass. Paired with an equally beautiful ruby octagonal clasp set with an antique paste circa 1920\'s.m, stamped/hallmarked Made in Czechoslovakia.
The modern people of the Art Deco period strived to contrast that of the previous Art Nouveau, Edwardian, and Victorian eras. Taking a page from the modern/Japanese influenced Arts and Crafts Movement, Deco design kept to straight geometric, angular and masculine lines echoed in this contemporary drop.
Set with elegant oxidized silver plated mother & triple chain, vintage faceted Czech glass beads and Art Deco inspired filigree setting and bail.
