Deco Mania this week –I am thinning the herd on my Art Deco items and have many listed – please seemy other items for some great Deco pieces.For offer is a great old Art Deco styled Light Up Neon sign advertisingPrecision Photo Equipment. Super bulletends with chrome bands for accent. Thesign has a glass front with reverse painted glass that shows some paintchipping. Inside that are glass rodsthat run the full width of the sign – guessing the rods are 1/8” in diameter).There is another piece of glass in back of that holding it together. When you look at the letters you can see theribbed effect. Sign is made by AllisonSign co. in Milwaukee. Comes with A Franceformer transformer (FranceMfg. Co. Model #7520H) in hammertone black paint. As you can see the GTO wires were clipped onthe transformer. You could probablystill graft on some wire and hook to the ends of the neon in back of the sign(see picts). Sign weighs 7 pounds andthe transformer weighs 11 pounds. Signmeasures 25” by 4 ½” by 5” tall. Decoall the way and a worthy addition to anyone’s collection.
