This lovely old photo frame is made from wood & the outside frame hold together with teeny little tacks. With the original glass (which has minimal scuffs in great condition) & thick cardboard backing including the stand held together with very large sturdy old staples. \"Slydin Patent 25609\" is impressed into the back of the card at the top. Some scuffs and wear to the wooden outer frame, two very fine splits where the tacks went in on the edges (holding just fine though), the front of frame is indented with decorative ribs & each corner adorned with flowers & leaves in relief, no bits are chipped off & there are a few fine cracks on some corners within the flowers. I\'m fairly sure the floral add ons is called \"Barbola ware\". They used this technique during the war era for photo frames, using glue & paper I think. Rare to find one with it all intact such as this one. Medium size see measurements below.weight 304 grams
