Blonde Bubble Cut Barbie

1st Issue 1961

HEAD: She has her original makeup. Pretty blue eyes and light brown eyebrows. Her lips are a very light bubble gum pink-ish color. There is an extra little dot of lip paint on the lips, whichI think may be a little manufacturers defect. The photos are like a magnifying glass andmake it look worse than it really is,but you can\'t tell unless you get really close up like the camera. Her hair is nicely styled. She has a bit of \"green-ear\" at the earring holes which you will see in the photos.

BODY: She will come nude in the original box. The stand is not included. Her legs and arms are tight so she will hold a position. Her legs are tighter than her arms. She has all her fingers and toes. The polish has rubbed off a tiny bit but it still looks good. She is clean and free of scratches.

BOX: The box is in poor condition but still has the cardboard lining. Dated 1962. And marked Blonde. Printed on the top is the Nighty Negligee, Solo in the Spotlight and Friday Night Date outfits among others. See photos.

I try to identify the dollsand describe their imperfectionsto the best of my knowledge,howeverthe photos are a VERY important part of the condition description, so please examine them carefully to identify the doll and determine the condition for yourself. As you know, these vintage items will have wear that is consistent with their age and play wear, so imperfections should be expected... but they do add to the doll\'s unique character in my opinion. Please ask questions before offerding! All questions are welcome, and will be posted in the question/answer section of the ad to help others who may have the same questions as you.

PAYMENT: Please make your payment within one business day. I will not ship out your item until payment is received.

SHIPPING: Buyer is responsible for shipping fees unless otherwise stated. As soon as I get your payment, I will ship your order within one business day, however most of the time I can get it shipped out the same business day. Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your location, size and weight of the package. Unfortunately the shipping costs are out of my hands and cannot be adjusted. I do NOT make any profit on shipping... I always try to find the most economical shipping option for the buyer, and pass on 100% of my discounted rate on to you. Depending on where you live, often times Priority shipping is actually less expensive than the \"economy\" shipping option believe it or not. Local pick up is available as well, just contact me and we will make arrangements. (I am located in the DFW area) I will ship your doll securely wrapped and padded inside a rigid shipping box so it will be protected. Outfits, clothing and accessories will be shipped either in a box, or a padded envelope depending on what it is and how I think it will be best protected. I do a REALLY good packing job and pack my items very carefully so they will arrive to you safe and sound. (See my response.) In the unfortunate case that the package is lost or damaged in shipping, please do not throw away the original packaging or the item. Please contact me immediately and send photos of the damaged item, the box and the internal packaging so I can file a claim with the shipping company.

PRICING: My prices are based on my personal research as a collector as well as information aboutthe secondary market valuesfound in various collector’s guides... taking the item’s condition into consideration of course.

RETURNS: I will accept returns within 14 days. Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees, andthe original shipping costs will not be refunded. All Paypal and fees that I incurred as a result of the transaction will also be deducted from your refund amount. If the item you are returning had \"free shipping\" then the shipping that I incurred will be deducted from your refund amount. With returns for any reason, please use the same box and packaging. Once I receive it, I will refund you as long as the item returns to me in the same condition as which I sent it to you. Undamaged, unopened etc... If I mistakenly send you the wrong item, please contact me right away. I will send you a pre-paid shipping label for you to send the item back to me, and I will ship the correct item ASAP!
