Vintage Tin Easter Egg Candy Container

Up for sale is a vintagetin Easter Egg candy container. The colorful decoration on the outside of the egg shaped piece is that of the Easter Bunny sitting outside of his home, and painting/decorating a large Easter Egg. The cute egg measures approximately 2.25 by 1.5 inches in size. The tin container was made in Switzerland, for Barton\'s Candy Corporation, of New York. While it was originallydesigned to be a candy container, holding 1 ounce of candy,it could be used as a gift box to hold any small Easter present for that special person or child.
The EasterEgg candy container is in greatvintage condition, with onlyminimal soilingand wear, andnodents, dings or damage thatI can detect. However, therearesome tiny spots of rust along the inner lip ofthe bottomhalf of the egg. Please note that since the two halves of the egg dofit tightly together,they can be difficult to separate once joined, and will not be joined together when shipped.
