This is a vintage Paul F. Beich Co. candy box for chocolate covered marshmallow Christmas trees, made in Bloomington, IL.Beich\'s Candy was founded in 1893 by Paul F. Beich. The company was the seller of the once popular Beich Whiz bar, a chocolate-covered marshmallow confection.The box depicts Christmas trees on the cover with various ornaments and toys swirling around them including an airplane and santa and some elves. A red section with a scalloped trim lies underneath the trees, reminiscent of a tree skirt, that lists the company name and product. The sides of the cover have a similar design with Christmas trees lined up in the background and a red scalloped banner in the foreground. Once opened, the box has designated squares inside which must have kept each piece of chocolate safe from touching the others. The box is in excellent condition for its agewith minor creasing and a few frayed edges. There is no structural damage of any kind. It measures 12\" long, 10\" wide, and 3\" deep.
