This is a fine sterling matchbox holder made by the Bensabott Company of Chicago. Bensabott was an exclusive Asian arts & jewelry store that opened in the late 19th century. This piece dates to about the 1920\'s.
Measurements: 3 1/4\" high (base to tip of rooster\'s tail) x 3/4\" high (just sterling box) x 2 3/8\" long x1 1/2\" deep
