VINTAGE BRASS GREYHOUND WHIPPET DOG STATUE FIGURINE SCULPTURE CANDLE HOLDER MALE:

This loyal male dog sits holding a brass ring which has a brass candle holder atop the ring.
Very well made with lots of detail, he sits leaning slightly to right if you are facing him.The candle holder base is made with a tiny air hole at the very bottom. If you burn candlesI\'d suggest a piece of foil at the bottom or to not let the candle burn all the way through to preventwax from ever dripping on the dog itself.
He measures 9\" tall from the base to the top of the candle holder, approximately 5.5\" from front to back including the candle holder,and at the widest point of the brass ring 3-5/8\". He weighs 1 pound, 11 ounces.
I do not know who the artist was nor where this came from but the family who owned it did spend much time in Italy and France.
