Detailed book ends of \"The Thinker\", copies of the sculpture by Aguste Rodin conceived in 1880. These copies probably date to the 1960\'s or \'70\'s although exact age is unknown. A magnet doesn\'t stick and they are too heavy to be spelter weighing 2.6 lbs each so I assume they are either brass or bronze. They have both been sealed with lacquer to preserve their original color and stave off oxidation however one is a bit lighter in color than the other and there is an area on the face of one of the bases that shows a bit of oxidation and the other has a spot of oxidation on his back. There is also a very small spot on the side of one of the bases. Expect to find some dust in the crevices. I have not cleaned these.About 7\" tall X 4\" deep X 3 1/4\" wide.
