Exquisite bronze by Jerome L. Cox. It is a bronze candlestick with the front having whatI believe is God with a child entwined in his upper beard and a lady entwined in the longerthin section of his beard. Perhaps Mother & Child! You can see the arm elbow and part of the torso.The back is the Phoenix, Jesus rising up to the heavens.I guess it could be many other things to other people. What is your thoughts? A little about the sculptor:This piece was created in 1988 when he was still a struggling artist in Italy. He lived in an oldfarmhouse in Croci Di Calenzano, Italy from 1978 to 1990. In 1991 he was handedSan Martino a Scopeto by Cardinal Piovanelli where during the summer months he dedicateshis time to teaching.
