Stunning Buck 500 Pearl handle Duke folder with a 3\" 440C mirror polished blade. The stainless steal bolsters have been beautifully engraved in Avery fine English style by the late Master engraver George Sherwood. Author of \"Firearm engraving Theory and Design\" and a founding father of the Firearm Engravers Guild of America FEGA. The 440C steel blade has an extremely high wear resistance and will hold it\'s finish for decades. Many knife makers claim the 440C blade will take the sharpest edge and hold it the longest over any other blade material. This high carbon Martensitic steel is rated 58-60 on the Rockwell Hardness scale. This is a signed piece with the receipt from George Sherwood.
