Fabulous Melody in Motion Carousel Music Box..Four horses go up and down as the Carousel goes round and round playing the tune Over the Waves... The top finial is the on-off switch but you can also do it manually...Uses 4 double A batteries which are included..I don\'t believe this item has been taken out of the box only when I did to take pictures of it...The music fades in and out but when I turned it over upside down it was very loud..so don\'t know why that is..Adorable and fun to watch the horses go round and round and up and downlike at a real amusement park....Hand Painted porcelain ..Bisque finish..10.5 inches x 8.5 inches..Cold temperatures may cause distortion of the sound..so keep the item at room temperature for awhile..There is a switch on bottom to regulate the volume..Have fun with thisdelightful music box..Shipping is high due to weight...but will refund the overageif shipping is lower that I listed..Original Box shows some wear...Please note that color may look slightly different on different monitors.
