Vintage CDV Civil War Tin Type Photo From an estate sale here in Clearwater, Florida, we have this vintage CDV tin type photo. I do not know very much about this type of item and I will describe what I know and along with the photo, I am hopes that you will get an idea of what we have here. If there is anyone out there in land that can further educate us on this piece, feel free to let us know. The photo measures approx. 2 7/16” wide X 3 13/16”. There is some writing on the back ( please see photo ). The photo is still rather clear with what appears to be a mat finish.
