VINTAGE DANISH MODERN RED KEVI CHILD CHAIR - RASMUSSEN

This sale presents a vintage DANISH MODERN RED KEVI CHILD\'S TASK CHAIR, designed by Jorgen Rasmussen in the 50/60’s. It is marked \'Kevi\' on casters, embossed on bottom frame and label on backrest. This is the child\'s size rolling swivel chair with adjustable seat-height/back-height/back-angle and four-spoke base. The seat measures about 15.5\" wide and 13\" deep. The chair and seat height are adjustable. The seat and back are painted, molded plywood. The casters are the original and now ubiquitous Kevi rollers. We purchased this chair new in the late 1970\'s. As to condition, there are minor marks and scratches on the seat as well as scrapes on the edge of the backrest; see pictures. It is all original and fully functional, no repairs.This is one of the few mid-century modern icons designed for children - like Aalto, Bertoia and Sapper & Zanuso. Please see another listing for a teak version for adults. Note this chair may be shipped within the lower 48 or is available for pick up in central Connecticut. We would also be willing to deliver for $50 between Boston and New York City; this charge would cover as many of our currently listed furniture/lamp items as will fit into our mini-van. Our shipping weight is an estimate as it is not yet packed; any overage will be refunded to buyer.
