This is a vintage Cal Custom carb scoop. The inside of the scoop has \"Calif. Custom Access. MFG CO No 40-44\" cast into it. This is a real deal scoop from the 50\'s-60\'s. The carburetor shown in the first picture is for display only and not included in this listing.
This scoop is in good original condition overall. The chrome shines well with wear and pitting as shown which adds to the character. The scoop has one hole drilled in the top for a carb stud and 2 holes drilled on the underside. I don\'t see any breaks or repairs to this piece. This is simply an awesome true vintage scoop that would look great on a traditional hot rod or on the wall of a garage, shop, office, or man cave. The possibilities for this scoop are only limited by your imagination.
