Up for sale is a fairly rare, hard to find 1940\'s - 1950\'s MATCHED PAIR - [EUROPEAN STYLE] PEASANT COUPLE ~ CALIFORNIA POTTERY BY YONA [LIPPIN]...They are both marked \"YONA\" - He is numbered \"24\" and She is numbered \"19\"... There is light overall crazing, which is common for pieces this age... The lady is in perfect condition with no issues. However, I have to mention that the man has a very small glaze chip at the very bottom edge of the hem of his cape on the left side..It really is almost unnoticeable [I didn\'t even see it until I picked him up to look at the crazing!!!] They are both colored in cream, baby blue and shades of pinkish mauve... He measures approx. 9 3/4\" tall by 5 1/4\" wide; she is 9 1/2\" tall x 9 1/2\" wide... THIS AWESOME COUPLE IS A \"MUST HAVE\" FOR THE VINTAGE CALIFORNIA POTTERY COLLECTOR... The glare that you see in some of the pictures is from the camera... Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have and we thank you so much for looking at our \"stuff\"!!!
