- The subject is peaceful, with eyes closed and head tilted in prayer or reverie. Hand painting of her features, and the contrasting matte and gloss glazes is deft and sure. Modeling of the drapery is simple and pure, in the California MCM style.
- Hand marked only \"MS\" or \"SW\" in the same color glaze as the lips.
