This is a very cute extra large cardboard paper (papier) mache Easter Egg made in Germany that is signed inside Echt Erzgebirge. It is very colorful. Some of the gloss in some places has worn off. On the inside, at the top rim, a piece has come loose - easily can be reglued. Please see pictures for better description. It is approximately 10 Inches long, 6-1/2 inches across & 7 inches tall. The egg depicts a rooster and a chick riding in a cracked red egg row boat in a pond. Fish and frogs are emerging from the water to say hi. The farmhouse is in the distance. Very cute.
