This vintage paper mache Mallard Drakeduck decoy is made by CARRYLITE and is often sought after as folk art /collectibles. This duck decoy is hand painted with a green head, yellow beak,reddish-brown chest, grayish/brownish body with blue and white markings on thewings, a green and white tail, and two orange legs/feet. The duck hasgolden/brown glass eyes.

Reflecting the duck decoy’s age andusage, some of the paint has crackled/chipped on the head, beak, body and tail,which has been dinged in several places (see pictures).

The bird is labeled “CARRY-LITE” andhas hand painted “Remer” on the bottom. It is approximately 13.5 inches long, 6inches wide and 6 inches tall.
