Antique vintage RARE Case XX Parer paring knife. I have looked all over the internet and cant find this knife anywhere. Close to the Early American #669 but blade is much thinner. Knife is in great condition. Overall length is 6.5\", blade is approximately 3\". Great for your collection, or use it as it was intended (which is what I do). Its been restored to use as this one is in that good of shape. Cleaned, polished, sanded, varnished, and sharpened - nothing has been altered. Brass rivets are tight, blade is straight and RAZOR sharp. Sharpens easy and holds an edge. Four coats of Spar Varnish will keep the wood in excellent shape for decades no matter what you soak it in. Vintage as marked on the handle \"Case XX\" once side \"PARER\" the other, up front between the 1st and 2nd rivets, not at the end between 2nd and 3rd for current knives. No markings on blade. Really in great shape for as old as it is, and very rare, I have yet to see this exact knife on the web. Please look at all the pictures and ask questions before offerding.
