Here is an exquisite Chinese cinnabar bottle vase - both sides carved with a scene of deer in a mountainous landscape, enclosed by scrolling foliage and flowerheads - the tapering neck enhanced by 2 metal (bronze, I think) deer heads attachedon inside by pairs of clips (see photo 9). Remnants of paper label on base. Height is 5 5/8\". I am not sure of the age of this vase. Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, or\'nicks\'; carved designs are crisp; no breaks to metal heads (they jiggle a little, but are secure; clips are intact). Beautiful!
