Offering a big lot of 55 vintage Christmas cards. These are vintage used cards with colorfulimages suitable for crafting, scrapbooking or display. These are used and signed cards, and there isa scrape or spot here and there. Thereare some bends but no tears. Some are havefoil, die cuts, glitter, embossing, and raised and metallic inks. There is a Currier and Ives engraving, a fewreal photo types, and one that appears to be hand screened. A few are a bit newer: most of these are fromDrawing Board and include the artists’ name.Most are late 50s. Brands includeCentury, Etchcraft, Norcross, Shrewsbury, Rust Craft, Henri Fayette, AmericanGreetings, Hallmark, Coronation, Sunshine, Sacred Art Publishing Co., Current,Embassy, Thermo-Glo, Quality Crest,Ambassador and Gibson. The real photo ofa fine antique Bible is attributed to a personal collection; the little girlwith bittersweet annotates that it is a reproduction of an antique Louis Prangcard. The Currier and Ives isattributed, as is, unusually, a signed “anne” Hallmark card that says it wasdesigned by Anne Smith. The textured andapplied Madonna litho is from The Studios of Brown & Bigelow. The Troubadour art is attributed to DavidStone. Drawing Board artists representedare Ruth Morehead (puppy), Judy Hand and Max Lungwitz. Cards range in size from about 8 x 6” to 5 ½x 3 ¾”.
