Late 1940s - Early 1950s vintage Landeron 48

MOVEMENT: Calibre 48 Landeron movement is in very good condition throughout. It is running and keeping time, all functions are working, although it will need to be serviced for reliable use. Offering unserviced. Marked on the movement: CANAL WATCH CORP. / SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS / UNADJUSTED SWISS.

DIAL: The dial is original, has not been refinished, and is in really nice shape. Minor surface flaws. Black with white markings and luminous numerals. 30-minute and 60-second registers. Original hands. Marked on the dial: FORSYTHE / 17 JEWELS.

CASE: Plated base metal case does have some pitting throughout the surface. Stainless back is in good shape. Marked inside: GLORIA WATCH CO. / GENEVE SWISS / STAINLESS STEEL BACK. The case measures 34mm (plus crown) x 40mm lug tip to tip.

New acrylic crystal. New woven strap.
