Up for sale is this cuckoo clock made in Western Germany. The names BACHMAIER & KLEMMER are stamped on the Regula movement. It is about 18 inches from the top of the stag\'s antlers to the bottom of the game bag. It is about 12 inches wide at the widest point. The backplate with the coiled gong is missing. Thisdoes not affect the working or display of the clock, other than no gong sound is heard on the hour or half hour, (the hammer moves, so a replacement back would allow the gong to work. The gong hammer moves and cuckoos the hour on the hour. It also gongs, (hammer moves) and cuckoos once on the half hour. The Thorens music box plays, \"Emperor Waltz\".
This clock works great. It is a very clean and outstanding piece.
