I\'ve cleaned up and painted or the years many of these. My 9 year old grandson is always fascinated with these old plumb bobs and he wanted to try his hand at this pair. These were totally his design and idea. I told him since he helps me around the shop so much he could do these any way he wanted to and keep what ever money they made ! So here you go guys. These were painted with rock hard lacquer not paint and the is 2 coats per color on each. Each one was painted the opposite color first then pinstriped by Landon, my grandson. After pin stripping they were then painted the opposite color and the pin strip was removed . I think he watched these spin for at least 30 min from some old cotton strip that would unwind from the weight. He was very proud of these and aside from helping me on a few other projects this is his first custom resto job all by his own hand. Enjoy guys and thanks.
