A very interesting estate sale find. These are little Riker display boxes that contain relics picked up along the beaches and shores of the Normandy France coastline over 50 years ago and sold as souvenirs and given as gifts etc. This set is in a 4\"x5\" glass top display box and consists of eight (8) brass/copper/steel items picked up on the shore. Some are identifiable, some are not. Several have markings from the lands and grooves and are distortet from hitting the wet sand or an object, and some look almost pristine--other than being oxidized. The back reads, \"Pick-Ups from Omaha Beach/Normandy France/Near Arromanches/John & Mary Glass/June-July 1962/To: Mary & Glenn. I had several others sets similar to these back in the Winter and Spring from the same estate, from both France and the Pacific. Recently, four more were found among some of the last of the estate.
