A wonderful antique treasure that appears to be in excellent condition. A Dresden china teapot with matching cream pitcher with \"Old Dresden Flowers\" of vibrant pink and yellow, sprays of small blue flowers with green vines, accented by gilt foliate bands. The pieces have scalloped neck and bases as well as large handles. The teapot has a domed lid with a ring finial. There might be slight wear to gold edging as would be expected for the age of these pieces. The photos speak for themselves. Please preview.The makers mark for both of these pieces show the age 1887-1915. MEASUREMENTS: Teapot is approximately 5 3/4\" tall to finial, 9 1/4\" wide spout to handle, base is 3 3/4\" diameter. Cream pitcher is 4 1/2\" tall, 4 3/4\" wide including handles, base 2 3/4\" diameter. About the Artist: Porzellanmalerei Ambrosius Lamm (1887 until 1934) Ambrosius Lamm (Lamm, english \'Lamb\') opened his porcelain decorating business in 1887. The Lamm studio was known for its quality painting in the Viennese, Meissen and Copenhagen styles. And specialties were Old Dresden Flowers, Watteau style french romantic scenes and mythological depictions. The Lamm workshop used several marks on its wares during its 62 years of operation.
