Up for sale is an original David Pelbam oil painting in excellent condition. This painting is in great shape and has noproblems that I can see, as is the frame. There's some lighter sections of the background, but upon further inspection (with an eye loupe) it just looks to be shading/shadow, and NOT a blemish. I do not know theprovenance of this item, but it is a real oil. As with most Pelbam paintings, they are presumed to be self portraits. It is signed in orange.
David Pelbam is somewhat mysterious... many people are absolutely captivated with his works. He was born in 1932, and is most famous for painting portraits of dockworkers, ship captains, and rabbis. The eyes are quite extraordinary and follow you around the room. As with all his paintings they are so life like, as if the painting is changing expressions. Feel free to ask any questions, or to request more photos.
