Description:This is a great display piece for a period ring. Patent Number121879on bottom corresponds to a 1917 date.
Condition: Very good. The inside velvet is a bright deep purple like it must have been when the box was new. The back of the case does have two, barely noticeable cracks that look more like seams in the plastic. These are superficial and do not go all the way through but only show on the surface. They can hardly be seen in the last picture below the hinge.
