I\'ve been purchasing and collecting vintage jewelry for a long time, having looked through plenty of display cases at pawn shops, shows, antique stores and estate sales. All items are vintage with varying degrees of age/wear/tarnish.

This Item:Vintage Don Lucas sterling silver carnelian cross pendant.

Measurement: Cross is 2-5/8\" long including bale and is a hair over 1-1/4\" across.

Weight:14.6 grams

Hallmarks/Stamp: Stamped,\"Sterling (copyright) D. Lucas\" on back.

Condition:I recently watched a Don Lucas YouTube video, in which he narrates how he makes his jewelry (very interesting video). He purposely introduces surface wear to his silver jewelry. In the case of this piece - he either took it to the limit, or this cross has simply experienced a lot of wear over its life so far. I will note the carnelian cabochon is perfect, with nary a scratch. The bottom edge wear shown in my last photo close-up does not appear \'fresh\' when viewed under magnification. So anyway - it\'s either in great original shape or very worn!

Comments: This is a different Don Lucas cross design than what seems typical for him.
