Rare vintage Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Cookie Jar by ENESCO, 1964.
Walt Disney Productions stamped, no paper tag. This jar is incredibly hard to find, as they are quite delicate and few have survived for 50 years.
This cookie jar is in lovely vintage condition, no significant nicks or chips or repairs. Snow White herself is perfectly preserved, no flaws. Her face and expression is so pretty and serene -- her little mouth/lips are darling! Inside is pristinely clean.
There is a line on the back left of the skirt, approximately 2.75\" long, as pictured in the 3rd to last picture above; and a 2\" hairline on the rear right, from Grumpy\'s head to the rim of the opening (see the 2nd to last pic above). The hairlines are only through the glaze and have no impact on the integrity of the ceramic itself. It is quite hard to see, I had to tweak the contrast so that those hairlines would show in photos. I suspect that the hairlines are a result of thenormalimperfections that accompany ceramic production, rather than damage. Finally, Sleepy\'s foot has a tiny chip, as seen in the last photo above. Small issues but I mention them for accuracy\'s sake.
I would not hesitate to call the cookie jar NEAR MINT vintage condition.
Various cookie jar collectors books value this jar at $1,500 and up. It is a special and amazing piece of mid-century Disneyana, in the Enesco signature style.
