Tonight I\'m happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vintage, Early 1940\'s - Sterling Silver & Marcasite Set - 20\" - 7mm Graduated Akoya Cultured Pearl Necklace.
AKOYA SALTWATER! - EXCELLENT CONDITION! - !
This classic and elegant necklace dates from the early 1940\'s, of American make and origin, designed as a 20\" strand of graduated, 7mm to 3mm deep cream colored, rose pink cast Akoya cultured pearls strung on cream silk thread with a heavy sterling silver marcasite set clasp.
The necklace is in excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use, the pearls are of a very good quality with a good high luster and minimal blemishes to the pearls.
The clasp is marked on the back, 925 for Sterling silver. The pearls have been tested and checked and are guaranteed to be genuine Akoya saltwater pearls.
