Vintage English Ravenhead Glass Dimple Pub Beer Mugs Unused Pair:
$20.00

Let me start by pointing out that I recently sold the lastof my first quality Pints. Over twenty or so years of handling these, we setaside a fair number of mugs with slight defects. I am now going through these, and will offer them as pairs, and will try to describe and document the defectsas honestly as possible. If you feel they were misrepresented, I will eitherreplace or refund as necessary, though I will not refund shipping. Please keepin mind that, though these are not first quality, they have never been used. Please see the last paragraph for a description of this particular pair.

For decades, starting in the early 1920\'s, when \"JohnBull\" ordered his pint at the corner pub, chances are that this is the mugin which it was served. The famous \"Dimple Mug\" was for decades THEmug that the publican bought for his establishment. Made for the wear and tearof daily commercial use, it follows that it must be rugged. It’s alsocomfortable to handle, and can be chilled or heated in the microwave. Not acopy- made by Ravenhead Glass in England, this is the 20 oz., Imperial Pintsize, which is about five inches tall and three and a half inches across. Thissale is for a SET OF TWO MUGS. Though they were imported in the early1990\'s, condition is new. Informativecard enclosed with set. Remember, it\'s not a real \"Pint Pot\" unlessit has the Ravenhead logo, with \"Made in England\" embossed on thebottom, as shown. Cheers!!

The Ravenhead factory has closed, and NO MORE of the famedDimple Mugs will be made!! Check out the BBC News story below. This may be yourlast chance to own these icons of British culture! Once a valued commodity, these last remaining Dimple \"Pint Pots” are now a true collectible.

One of these mugs has a small flaw on the rim at about1o’clock, with the handle being at 3 o’clock. It looks like a chip, but iscompletely smooth. The other mug has a tiny chip at about 12 o’clock. It is not sharp enough tocut. Most people wrap their hand aroundthe mug, rather than holding it by the handle. Both of these have the Crown Pint“Government Stamp”. The last of the first quality Pints were selling for$20.00.
