Happy and Sad! Vintage English or German hand puppets, 16\" and 13\" tall. Wooden heads, hands and legs. Costumes are worn and faded in places but overall good shape.Happy\'s face is perfect with a small scrape on the back of his head. Sad\'s face hassome smudges and there is what appears to be glue residue on the back of his head. Perhaps he had a hat. These puppets were made to sit on the edge of the stage and dangle their feet, when not in use in the puppet play. Early 1900s.
