This is a vintage Erzgebirge Wood Nativity Scene Carousel with original candles The Erzgebirge Windmill dates back some 40+ years ago. The Wooden Carousel is in great vintage condition with some melted candles wax residue in candle holders. The Brass need to be polished to bring back the bright luster. Some candle smoke shows on the wind paddles, but can be easily cleaned.No box. There is a sticker on the base indicating it is an Erzgebirge product made in East Germany. This vintage Erzgebirge is an early example with Porcelain Wings on the Angles instead of the later wooden wings. The Carousel stands approx. 11” tall. Please look at the pictures; they are part of the description. There are some extra candles that come with the Nativity Scene. This is the only Erzgebirge Nativity Scene I have scene available for some time available.
