This is a vintage Florence Ceramics Dove or Bird figurine. Florence Ceramics was based in Pasadena California and was in business from the early 1940\'s to 1964, when it was sold. The new company kept the name but added different items such as dinnerware. They closed in 1977. The Ceramics made by Florence Ward have become very collectable because of her attention to detail and quality. She concentrated mostly on male and female figurines, but did produce a few animals. This beautiful Dove or Bird figurine is 8 1/4\" tall, 7 7/8\" wide and about 7\" deep. Excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It has a slightly off white semi gloss finish. The beak and talons are Pink.
