Here is a very early Fred Bear Grizzly recurve bow. It hasaluminum laminations in the limbswith basket weave glass. The bow is 62\" long and has a #40 draw weight. The serial number is2328. The most interesting thing about this bow is that it has 4 decals. Instead of putting the length and draw by the grip...it\'s on a decal. I was told it is one of the earliest Grizzly\'s and dates to 1949 or 1950. The bow has some normal light wear in spots but overall the condition of the wood, varnish and leather grip is very good. There is a non factory sight attached and I left it just like I found it. You can decide if you want to repair one small screw hole. This bow is a collector piece only.
