I\'m offering these beautiful crocks/canisters with French writing and 2 handled lids on each. They are 7\" tall including the top of lids (5-1/2\" without) x 5-1/2\" in diameter. They are thick stoneware, each is hand painted and are heavily glazed with a look of majolica. Each lid has a number 2 stamped inside and the bottoms are marked with a makers mark that looks to be a barred S, B or even a roman numeral 3. I have spent numerous hours trying to identify the artist but have been unsuccessful. No matter who it is, these crocks are beautiful, unique and would make a pretty addition to any kitchen.
