Vintage Nester Candy Paper Mache Easter Egg Made in GermanDemocratic Republic

Quite old vintage Easter collectible of a two shelled paper Macheegg showing on both sides a duck in overalls playing a guitar and sitting on atree stump. There is a mouse in front of him wearing a red cape anddancing along atop another tree stump and a blue bird behind him singing alongwith the duck. Around them are trees, grass and flowers. The insideis done in a green stamped pattern of Easter bunnies, eggs, flowers, chicks,chickens and grasses. Each half is stamped with the same green ink that readsMade in German Democratic Republic.

I’d say that this is in excellent condition given its age as I do not see anydamage aside from minor scuffing or ware to the white curving boarder at theedge of each half. There is a doily insert around one of the two innerhalves and due to the age the two sides don’t always want to staytogether.

Measures at about 3 & 1/2” Tall by about 2 & 3/4” Wide.
