miniature figurine. Wagner animals are finely handcrafted miniature toys/figurines and ornaments that a have a composition or plastic base and are covered with thick flocking and/or mohair. This piece measures3" tall (including the antlers)and 2 3/4" nose to rump. It hasblack bead eyes and plastic antlers.The old-style Wagner ID label remains intact and reads, "Handwork Kunstlerschutz West-Germany," denoting production between 1966-1983.A wonderful and unique addition to your collection since these fun little animals are no longer being made. I purchased this piece from an sale house a few years ago, so I am not the first owner. Please note one of the antlers is a little loose - but that is typical for the antlered Wagner critters.
