Wow, you don\'t see these knives in this condition very often.
The knife is near mint, never sharpened. The blades mirror finish are almost flawless, showing only very slight signs of being slid in and out of a leather sheath.
There are no cracks in the stag. The sterling silver shield can be seen with tarnish on it. The folding blades are very sturdy and include a folding saw, a skinning blade, and a corkscrew. These folding blades, are also flawless.
There are no cracks in the beautiful stag handles. I bought this from the original owner, the gentleman said he bought it in the fifties and he used to carry it on a uniform .
the leather sheath is a dark forest green in very nice shape as well
There is a little bit of lovely greenish patina from the brass liners that can be seen near the edges of the stag handle itself, in other words the stag has actually soaked up a little bit of the green patina at the edges
