Here is a beautiful, gilt metal picture or photo frame, possibly from France - of classical style - topped by a bow surmounting a shield, pierced sides with oval flowerheads and with laurel swags below. Glass is unevenly cut. Height is 9 3/4\". Condition is close to excellent - gilt is intact; no dents or breaks to metal - but one screw is missing to oval cover on reverse. As a note: I purchased this frame with the old postcard cut to fit inside, so it is possible this is a French frame.
