DESCRIPTION:

Offered here is a beautiful solid piece sterling silver Jelly Server Spoon in the ever popular Melrose pattern which Gorham began manufacturing in 1948. The server spoon measures 6 1/8\" in length and is 1.5\" wide . The weight is approximately 1.12 troy ounces*.

This Jelly Server Spoon is in Excellent Estate Condition (light scratching consistent with normal use) with NO monograms. Its markings include:Gorham\'s trio of hallmarks (Lion-Anchor-G);\"GORHAM STERLING\"; and,\"Melrose\".This combination of marks indicates that the piece is newer, which is consistent with its having been reported as a wedding gift from 1954 or 1955. The piece\'s price reflects its condition. This jelly spoon will make a lovely addition to any silver collection.
