In the mid to late 1970\'s my wife and I made
and sold handcrafted jewelry at arts and crafts shows around the East Coast.
We have been cleaning out boxes of \"STUFF\"
we have not looked at for 30 or more years
and came across a couple of boxes of our jewelry.
It is time to let someone enjoy it.
This necklace is from MY WIFE\'S PERSONAL NECKLACES
that we bought on our 1st trip to Hawaii in 1978. She wore it proudly
This is a GRADUATED PUKA Shell necklace
with shells graduating from about 1/8\" to 3/8\"
It is NOT a white Clamshell called a Puka Shell,
it is the real thing
It measures 16\" in length.
It is strung on mono-filament
with a barrel clasp that works fine
in the style we used in the 1970\'s
Clasp may be tarnished because of age but is fully functional.
It is 40 years old.
