Item you\'re offerding On & Condition:

Two charming large vintage Christmas Choir Boy candles by the Gurley Candle Co. There is manufacturing wording printed on the round factory papers glued on bottom of each candle, along with the old original price, and basic \"candle use\" info.The actual mfg wording reads: Copyright by / Gurley Candle Co. / Buffalo, N.Y. / Made in U.S.A. Each candle measures approximately 7 inches high (to show scale, we\'ve pictured candles with a U.S. penny - which is not included). The boys are made of colored wax, and each still has his original factory wick protruding from the top of his head.

Both candles in good basic condition, but being vintage / previously owned, are not perfect, thus sold \"as is\". It does not appear as if the candles were ever burned by their previous original owner. That said, one boy\'s wick is flattened into the top of his head, and due to the long length of time in this position, may not be able to be \"stood up\" again. There is some wax wear on each boy\'s wick too. There\'s some soiling and little dirt marks and/or stains here and there on them. One boy has some dents and dings in his was on side of face / head. There are little places on both of them where the wax has been scraped off, with little dings, dents, etc. There are paint or wax drips that are factory / intrinsic, from where the factory let the paint or wax drip down during the manufacturing process. The bottom paper labels on each candle are brown from age, with stains, candle over-flow (possibly factory, not sure), and creases / dents. The label on one boy has come unglued / loose on one side, and he has red candle staining on one side of label. No perfume, air freshener, or smoke scents to candles, but there is a very faint old wax scent (only noticed this when I put my nose close).
