This beautiful ceramic miniature horse figurine is a depictionof famous Thoroughbred Racehorse NativeDancer. He was sculpted by beloved artist Maureen Loveand produced by the Hagen Renaker pottery in the USA for just five years - 1961-1966as Model No. A-012.Due to his short production span, Native Dancer is amongst the hardest to findof the HR mini horses. This particular example has a beautiful deep, rich colorand matte finish. His eyes are extraordinary and overall detail is very good toexcellent. Unfortunately he hassustained some breaks in his 50+ years of life. His right hind leg has repairedtwo breaks below knee. These are visible on the outside of his leg but not onthe inside. His right front leg has one break which is almost invisible.Finally his right ear has a break and has tiny chip at the top - both are easyfixes to make them invisible. These are all visible in the sale photos soplease examine them closely before offerding!
