Vintage 1920s Halloween Die Cut, Interlocking Centerpiece Section. Shows a Cute Little Child (Boy?) in a Clown or Pierrot Costume. Costume Hat is Pointed with a Large Pom Pom on Front. Clown Suit has a Large Ruffled Collar & Ruffled Cuffs at Wrists & Ankles. Has Another Large Pom Pom on Front of Clown Suit. Arms End in Rectangular Locking Tabs. Has Light Orange Shoes on Feet. Printed in Light Orange (Not Yellow as Appears in My Photos) & Black on Light Cardboard. Measures 4 3/4\" W x 6 1/2\" H. Please See the Other Two Sections I\'m Also Listing.
Overall Clean & Bright. Left Hand Tab has a Pin Hole. Has a Bit of a Light Stain on Left Hand Tab. This Not Very Noticeable. Bottom Right Tab is Missing & Shows a Bit of a Crease & a Small, Light Stain on this Corner. Has a Very Mild Crease Where Right Hand Tab Meets Cuff. This is Only Visible from the Back. Hat Tip & bottom Left Tab are Bumped.
A Similar Set of Four Interlocking Veggie People is Shown in Mark Ledenbach\'s Great Reference Book, \"Vintage Halloween Collectibles, 3rd Edition\" on Page 274. He Rates the Set as a \"2\" for Rare. I Believe the Three Sections I\'m Listing Tonight are Also Rare or at Least Hard to Find.
