New York fashion designer Halston was famous in the 1970s for styling women\'s clothing that could be worn all day long and into the evening as formal wear.

This finely hand-made seafoam / light blue Halston jacket is just that — with hundreds of bead strands dangling and swinging.

Imagine wearing it all day long...from brunch to a gala or an evening beach party or wedding perhaps?

The construction shows true designer quality:

• Strings of seafoam / turquoise blue beads hang from the main double breasted jacket as well as from the sleeves and the hems. It weighs about 10 pounds!

PROVENANCE: This jacket was purchased by our mom in Beverly Hills and was likely never worn. It is like new (with the aging / slight fabric thinning to be expected from a vintage piece)

CONDITION: The jacket itself is in remarkable condition. The stitching seams on the armpits have some opening, due to the weight of the beads pulling on it. The price has been lowered to reflect this.
