You are offerding on a 1958 Holt Howard Cocktail Olives Pixie Ware Jar Fork.

The Olives was the one Holt-Howard pixie that was responsible for Pixiewares\' undeserved nickname of the infamous \"Martian heads.\" Due to the color and shape of his head, unfamiliar flea market dealers labeled him as a Martian, and his pixie cousins would soon be shackled with the same association. The Olives pixie wears his own namesake on his nose - an olive with two leaves. His left eye winks, and if you look closely, his pimento smile is very apparent. He has 10 stripes that match his head coloring. The Olives pixie is the only Pixieware condiment container designed without a spoon, instead, he is equipped with a stainless steel fork. The Cherries, Onions and Olives were produced in two varieties - one for barware as indicated by \"cocktail\" on the jar; and one for regular condiment use that just has the condiment name on the jar. The \"Cocktail\" pixies were advertised with the Devil\'s Brew, 300 Proof and Whiskey liquor decanters, and the liquor bottle bracelets - they were called the \"Happy Party Gremlins.\" As time passed, the lettering \"cocktails\" was removed from the jars as a marketing strategy to remove the bar and alcohol association. Too bad for collectors because that has made them more expensive to buy since there are more pieces without cocktails in the name than with. The Cocktail Oilves, Cocktail Onion, and Cocktail Cherries are a fabulous addition to a bar area!No chips, cracks or staining. The jar shows no signs of Glaze Craze but the Glaze on the lid does which is appropriate for this old of an item.
