This set of ornaments are made of paper, resembling a honeycomb. They are trimmed with gold braid and tiny glass beads. Most are tagged with the original paper tag reading \"made in Japan\". The box is labeled #6466, probably a style number. Box is in decent condition. The ornaments are mostly good, but one is coming apart, and a few (5 or 6) have a bit of \"crushing\" to the paper, due to their fragile nature. I have not seen Holt-Howard paper items before, but these appear to be perhaps around 1950 or 60 era. There are 18 red ornaments, 9 green, and 9 white, making a set of 36. This would be a unique addition to a collection.
